Longest Descent: Run from the mountain station of the Wetterkreuzbahn to the valley station of the Ochsengartenbahn - approx. 5km. Most beautiful panoramic piste: Piste no. 2 - Brunnenkopf exit. Best beginner slopes: Slope no. 2 - lower area at the Ötzilift descent; Piste no. 6 - exit Kühtaile; Piste no. 11 - Balbach lift descent.

The Funkpark Hochötz is the center of young freestylers and boarders. You will reach this snow park in the Balbach area with the 2-seater chairlift. Just watch the future artists. Many obstacles such as rails, boxes, kickers, barrels and a wave track are available.

Families appreciate the manageability in the Hochoetz ski area. Parents can decide to have their children looked after all day and learn their first turns in the WIDI children's area.

Children's course in Hochötz

On the trail of wild animals. Along the children's course you will discover all sorts of lifelike wild animals.

How do I get there? Slope: along slope number 9 Start: Lower section of slope no. 9

Good to know:

At the end of the 10 parcours stations, you come back to descent number 9. The Ochsengartenbahn takes you back to the mountain station.

Where are the best places in the ski resort of Ötz?

Zugspitzblick viewing platform

Great view! Great views of the Wetterstein Mountains with the Zugspitze, the Lechtal Alps and the Inn Valley right into the Kühtai.

How do I get there? Lift: The platform is just a few minutes' walk from the Wetterkreuzbahn mountain station (2,272 m).

Viewpoint Rotes Wandl

1.5 km winter hiking trail. The leisurely hike leads gently up and down through a rustic stone pine forest before a summit cross marks the vantage point after about 15 minutes on foot.

How do I get there? Lift: Directly at the mountain station of the Acherkogelbahn (2,020 m)
