What does the ski resort of Schladming have to offer?

The Schladming-Planai ski area is part of the Schladming 4-mountain swing. To the west you will find the partner ski areas of Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, to the east are Hauser Kaibling and the Galsterbergalm ski area.

Fantastic slopes and a direct view of the Dachstein massif promise unforgettable days of skiing.

The Planai World Cup descent from the summit to the valley is legendary. A particular challenge is the steep final Planai slope. Even experienced skiers burn their glutes after these 447 meters down into the valley.

Where are the best places in the ski resort of Schladming?

Schladming Planai Funcross
Funcross Planai

Snowpark & Boardercross A little more experience than is necessary for the Funslope, the Funcross offers fun for skiers and snowboarders.

How do I get there? Lift: The Funslope and Funcross can be reached in a very short time from the Weitmoos drag lift or the Märchenwiesebahn 8-seater chairlift.

Good to know:
Experience centrifugal forces. In the up and down or in the mighty steep curves of the Schladming Funcross.
Our Tip:
Never fully straighten your legs. So you always have a natural shock absorber to cushion the jumps.
Schladming Superpark Planai
Superpark Planai

Kickers, jumps, box lines, jib lines
XL playground for freestylers. Has become a superlative in the freestyle scene.

How do I get there?
Lift: From Planet Planai you take the gondola to the mountain station and follow line 07 to the Märchenwiesebahn chairlift, from there a little further (here follow line 08) to the park lifts, Weitmooslift I & II.

Good to know:
For all freestyle beginners, the park offers its own beginner's section with a good mix of smaller kickers and XL butter boxes.
Our Tip:
Attention girls - the Superpark Planai invites you to the Girls Shred Session every year. All shred chicks can work on their cattle skills together with the pros and experience a fantastic day with action shooting, barbecue and concentrated girl power.
